Dennis had a decades long career in the public service culminating in senior roles in operations management, business systems, information technology and governance. He played a lead role in streamlining and optimising business processes and systems and has led teams responsible for the delivery of online services to meet government policy requirements, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness. He also developed and implemented regulatory frameworks to support government functions and services.
Prior to commencing his public service career, Dennis gained a Bachelor of Arts with majors in communications and education and has post graduate qualifications in information technology and project management.
Growing up with a brother with an intellectual disability, Dennis has first-hand knowledge of the challenges people with disability face. This personal history combined with his educational and professional background, enables Dennis as President of the Focas Management Committee, to provide expert guidance and support to the organisation.
